Doomsday Clock fa parte dell’iniziativa in quanto iniziata con DC Universe: Rebirth #1 e proseguita con eventi correlati come Superman Reborn e The Badge.[2][3] Il fumetto introduce anche personaggi di Watchmen (la graphic novel di Alan Moore e Dave Gibbons) insieme a nuovi personaggi creati da Geoff Johns e Gary Frank che saranno inclusi nell’universo Watchmen, ma soprattutto includerà i membri più importanti della Justice League[4].

Cosa dire di questo libro!!! l’ho letto in un giorno! Lo scrittore è riuscito fin dall’inizio, da quando i personaggi entrano specificamente nelle catacombe, a creare un’atmosfera soffocante, piena di angoscia e ansia. Anche se i personaggi non sono ben sviluppati nel corso della storia, il libro mantiene le promesse e gestisce i vostri nervi fino alla fine. è un thriller psicologico, una lettura veloce, che intrattiene tenendo il lettore sulle spine, cercando di capire cosa succederà o se i personaggi arriveranno alla fine della storia.
Hayle è molto contento di andare a Parigi per visitare sua zia e sua cugina Gretchen, con le quali non ha più parlato spesso come prima. Vedendo che la relazione è la stessa di sempre, Gretchen decide di unirsi a Hayle e al suo gruppo di amici per una visita notturna alle Catacombe. Quello che non sanno è che questa visita potrebbe trasformarsi nel loro peggiore incubo… Nel caso non lo sapeste, non sono una grande fan dell’horror, perché divento molto suggestionabile e poi ho problemi a dormire, ma questo era un libro su cui avevo molti dubbi, e non sono una fan dell’horror.
